.OUST THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES.

>> Before you rock your "NEW ERA FILIPINO FITTED" tilted to the side of your dome..
Let me drop some knowledge about the inhumane state of corruption & chaos my beloved homeland THE REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES is experiencing due to the regime of Pres. Macapagal Arroyo. Every story about the struggles of my family, friends & relatives living in the Philippines cuts my soul deep & inspires me to spread awareness to my fellow Filipinos living here in the States regarding this very serious issue.

In the Philippines, in 2007 alone there were over 16,000 human rights violations under Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo's regime, including torture, displacement, extra-judicial killings, and enforced disappearances of hundreds of men and women from among political activists, peasants, workers, journalists, church people, lawyers and other civilians from various sectors of Philippine society.

According to a GMA News (not named after her) poll, Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo is rated by Filipino citizens to be the most corrupt president in the history of the Philippines, more so than Joseph Estrada, the president she succeeded, and even more than dictator and martial law holder Fidel Ramos. Both Estrada and Ramos required "People Power" revolutions to oust them from power, and they had lower corruption ratings than GMA. Where's the People Power now?

This video compilation was produced in order to show the terrible events occurring in the Philippines to the world. These events are not covered by CNN or other American news networks because GMA is one of George W. Bush's strongest allies in the War on Terror. Their unique relationship and parallels are displayed in the video. While the killings and kidnappings in the Philippines are not at dangerously genocidal levels such as Sudan or the Congo or Kenya or Burma, they are arguably the most invisible atrocities to the world, America, and especially the Filipino American population in the United States, who as the second largest Asian American population in the country are similarly just as invisible.

This video also shows the importance of the Writ of Amparo, an act similar to the Freedom of Information Act that allows Filipino citizens to discover the whereabouts of their deceased family and friends and disallow the military denial of plausibility. Please be sure to check out the websites at the end of the film, as they can provide you with more information about the Writ of Amparo and the extrajudicial violations going on in the Philippines today.

PRIVILEGE IS NOT AN EXCUSE FOR IGNORANCE AND INACTION. EDUCATION = EMPOWERMENT.

.child of the 80's, growing up in the 90's.

>>WARNING: EXTREME NOSTALGIA & MEMORIES

A tribute to all kids who grew up in the 90's. For there will never be a generation as great as ours ever again.

..Man, How I miss the 90's, everything seemed so carefree, innocent & most important FUN, even TV was 100x better. I feel sorry for today's youth & It's a damn shame that they never got to witness the brilliance of the NICKELODEON
OF THE 90's AT IT'S ABSOLUTE PRIME, now theyre stuck watching garbage cartoons & a non stop broadcast of bullshit reality shows saturated with scallywags and douchebags. todays society is twisted & is going downhill very fast, lets face it.

I found these today and it made my day, the nostalgia put a smile on my face but also a sad retrospect of my childhood years gone by so quickly, they just simply don't make em like they used to. I applaud the creator of these vids for bringing me back to the old school one time.

CLASSICS.

I propose a toast & a blunt in the air to the kids of 90's..one time for your mind motherfuckers.

.The Legend Of Genelec & Memphis Reigns.

>>Genelec & Memphis Reigns: Scorpion Circles

...I got home from work around 2 in the afternoon today & got ready to take a long needed power nap after a hectic day at work & stumbled across an old box of random junk I've kept from middle school through high school & to my surprise I found my old dusty Genelec & Memphis Reigns, Scorpion Circle CD inside my box of scribbles & random lyrics I used to write down & just keep in record for future reference. Oh man! I've been looking for this shit for such a long time, its practically irreplaceable, I've been fortunate enough to cop this actual masterpiece before it completely becomes extinct. An underground classic you have to hear to appreciate, not a lot of cats are familiar with these dudes. The whole cd is pure genius, Full rotation through the whole thing, the production will make you appreciate good music & the lyricism is flawless. If you ever find some tracks with genelec & memp save that shit before all of it dissapears into cyberspace, even the old shit with that they did with Son Of Ran: Textual Harrasment. Here is a quick bio overview of the group taken from a myspace page made by a fan.

Genelec and Mephis Reigns debuted in 2000. For the few heads lucky enough to hear the self-released EP Lemme Make Love to You, it was obvious that these two were on the right track....

Teetering on the brink of ... well, whatever fate awaits ridiculously talented underground hip-hop artists. The duo released their debut full Length, Scorpion Circles, in late 2002 to considerable acclaim in the underground hip-hop community. With dark production heavily drenched with strings and moody Middle Eastern flavors etched from Genelec himself (on his computer, no less), the debut shed enormous light on the promising MC's from Santa Cruz, CA.These two come off as smooth, and admirably assured, on every track they bless. The duo passes the mic back and forth seamlessly, trading fast-paced flows with an infectious exuberance.

Also in 2002 the group lent one of their defining tracks "Sunwheel" to the Boiling Point distributed (FRESHCHEST) compilation "Boom Bap For Neanderthals." Appearing along such notable underground heavyweights such as, Cunninlynguists, PackFm, Tonedeff, Napsndreads, Louis Logic, iCON the Mic King, Vast Aire, Supastition, and Mac Lethal to name a few. The duo's name and affiliations might suggest some sort of hyper-underground, abstract space-rap, but the truth is that Genelec & Memphis Reigns deliver some of the most rowdy beats in recent memory, brimming with high-speed, tag-team battle rhymes more akin to early Wu or Killarmy than to "MC Sensitive Thesaurus-Rocker." They craft tracks strapped with a seemingly endless supply of furious drum breaks, densely layered samples, and intricate but fierce lyrics custom-made for hard-core heads and jaded critics alike.

Though mostly unknown outside of Northern Cali ,the internet and various underground circles, with rhymes and beats like this, it's apparent why these guys were able to make a lasting impression on underground hip-hop

Genelec and Memphis split soon after Scorpion Circles ,going there separate ways, after graduating from UC Santa Cruz. Genelec moved to New York and Memphis Reigns is currently in Afghanistan serving in the US Army. Genelec reportedly is a full time film producer out of NY.

.check the work ethic.

<< my composites work table.

..I have learned & gained so much experience in the field of material composites, prepreg, carbon fiber & resin systems. I can really take this to another level in the near future to make some major bank.

As of last week I started the process of writing for the mixtape I'm about to tackle for this year, I feel now is the time for me to put out some music, I need a legit set-up for recording quality purposes but for now, I'm going to have to grind with the pc set-up, I know It's not going to sound crisp & clear, but hey It's at least a good start.

I'm extremely proud of myself for getting to this level of work position, starting out in the very bottom of the production process, doing all the dirt work, 3 years later I have the opportunity to contribute to the success of my company. Playing a role in the progression of this field I entered.

I consider myself a very hard working person who puts forth a great deal of effort, I know it will pay off someday.

I love this joint by hiero & goapele (Make your move)..oldie but goody..goapele has an angelic voice, I can just listen to her and relax. hiero is immortal.

.How Bout' Them Chargers?.

>> LT says 3 more.....
The San Diego Super Chargers came up with a long overdue play-off win yesterday at Qualcomm Stadium against the Tennessee Titans. It was a hard fought game, the type of game that builds the character of a team, showing they can still be focus & pull a "W" after a very dissapointing first half. They also proved they can get it done without the injured Antonio Gates, he injured his toe in a play, I'm hoping the injury is not serious, we cannot afford to lose Gates as an offensive weapon heading to the next rounds. I give it up to coach Norv Turner, established correct playcalling & a gutsy move letting LT go for a 4th down touchdown conversion. Coach showed a lot of emotion & you can tell a lot of pressure has been lifted off the team to get this first win out of the way. It says a lot about this team, Jackson & Chambers shined in clutch situations & Rivers pulled it through, I just wish he calms down and quits flippin the fuck out all the time, keeping composure is key for a successful quarterback. My team has been getting a lot of hate & criticism about the way they act on the field, A large amount of sports analyst doubts them, and the skeptics still predict them to choke. I think it's a positive thing that they're flying under the radar, Just stay focus & play with intensity...On to Indianapolis next sunday for another tough one. Whether you love or em or hate em' you cannot deny the fact that this team has the talent to upset the elite teams and earn a spot in the superbowl this year. thats bottomline. GO CHARGERS!

.a fresh start in 08.

..first and foremost Happy New Year!, out with 07, in with 08!

>>As we enter the year 2008, I made a sincere promise to myself to instill a new system of changes in my personal, family,& professional life this year. I'm leaving all the bullshit in 07, now I'm not going to call these changes resolutions because I feel they are much more than that, though I'm still a young man, I feel like I've wasted plenty of time & energy concentrating on the wrong things, instead of focusing on the things that actually matter. It's time to get my priorities straightened out. no more bullshittin and half-assin, now is the perfect time to jump-start a momentun for success and self- satisfaction. I'm done overlooking problems that needs to be fixed with myself, my relationships with my family and friends & how I deal with daily situations. It's simply overwhelming to just ignore them now & act like everything is super, when in reality shit is eating me up. I've always thought I was numb because I've been suppressing everything eversince my adolescent years, never given the chance to just let out my frustrations nor be able to have a normal family life growing up without a father. I used to say "fuck it' at everything, forcing myself to accept personal defeats & just straight up accept the fact that my family is struggling big time & there's nothing much I can do about it. That type of mentality is no longer appropriate as I witness my world go through major chaos & uncertainty this past year. I can & will do something about it, because I personally feel I deserve it. I'm passionate about the things I love and enjoy doing, I cannot keep on bullshitting myself & holding myself back from what I can achieve if i just put in the extra effort & time to actually just reach out and grab it. I cannot blame anybody else, yeah this place is scandalous at times, but I haven't been looking out for myself.
I've been neglecting my responsibilities as a son of a single mother who works her ass off to get us through. Year 08 is the time for me to do something that will make her truly proud of me as her son. fuck the financial struggles, it's always been a thorn on my side, I need to let my fam feel that I care for them & I appreciate eveything they have done for me. I'm optimistic about this year, I aint gonna let myself down. I have the right state of mind to tackle all these issues and to really turn it around this year. A new sense of hope & desire is burning within me. A lot of sacrifices will be made, but I cannot lose track of what I'm trying to achieve. Less cold brewery, Less nicotine sticks, Less self-pity..MORE can-do attitude & drive. I could give a fuck less-about the gltiz and glamour of a teens life. I'm on a personal mission to be a stronger better person in general. To reach that point where nobody can say a damn thing about your choices because at the end of the day you gave it your all. Imma grab it, I know its mine for the taking, it's only the second day of this new year & I already feel more alive & enthusiastic about the shit I'm going to encounter in 08 and so on. I'm sharpening my weapons now & my skin is tough enough for whatever combat & life battles imma face. The will to make it worthwhile is what I've been missing all these years, & it's true I had to hit more than a couple rock-bottoms in order for me to realize that, but thats the twisted beauty of it. like Immortal Technique said"I'm the only motherfucker that can change my life." so year 2008 is my year to shine, & nobody is fuckin with that. see you in paradise. --Grimmz One
